Clara Christine Gilliat This is my mothers graduation picture 1928 Kiser High School Dayton, Ohio. She was born in Uffington House in Rugby, Tennessee in 1912 on Christmas day. She was born the sixth of 10 children Clara Christine Gilliat (Smith) Ellen wrote in her biography that Christine was born on Christmas day and was less than one year old when the family made the 1000 mile trip to Palmasola, Florida to live because their house in Rugby had burned.
